A haibun
We have the pedants and the ignorant in society. A civil democratic society accepts the separation of powers into three streams, the legislative, the executive and the judiciary. These rules are universally applied with the exception of the dystopian world of Trump.
We, the subjects of the law, endeavour to follow all reasonable rules in an orderly manner for neighbourly harmony, in the name of the Law, as even the ignorant are expected to grasp the rules, whilst the pedantic have an overdeveloped sense of rules they reserve as an affectation of correctness in language. Your photograph captures their work and the uncertainty awaiting.
